Writing will change your life

Hey there, Aarav here !

This week's topic: Writing: The Timeless Art of Communication

Writing is an essential skill in the digital world.

In the real world, we speak. That's how people understand us.
On the internet, we write to communicate our message to others, on a global scale.

From emails and social media posts to blogs and website copy, effective writing can help you build your brand, connect with your audience, and achieve your brand/business goals.

As you venture into the world of personal branding and online business, writing becomes a critical tool for success.

A well-crafted message can open doors, boost your credibility, and ultimately lead to business growth by selling digital products.

Now, let's talk about how to improve your writing.

It's a simple 3-step framework (follow in this order).

1. Write every day for 30 days

2. Find a framework and make it your own (Develop a Content Writing System)

3. Prioritise quality ideas over quantity

Step 1 : Write Every Day for 30 Days to Hone Your Skills and Attention

In reality, it should be 90 days. Depends on how much you write. In this first phase, quantity matters.

For example, you might be in the game for 6 months, but if you only post once a week, you only put out 12 pieces of content. That's a lot, not. 12 pieces of content aren't enough at all for practice. Or to test.

That's why we write every day.

Writing every day for 30 days helps you:

→ Hone the skill of writing & attention

→ Build up a bunch of ideas

→ Cultivate the skill of consistency

Practice makes perfect, and writing is no exception. To become a better writer, commit to writing every day for 30 days. This challenge will help you hone your skills, develop discipline, and train your mind to focus on the task at hand.

To start your daily writing habit, set aside a specific time each day to write. It can be early in the morning or late at night, depending on your schedule. Aim to write for at least 15-30 minutes each day.

Whether it's journaling, blogging, or simply writing down your thoughts, the goal is to create a consistent writing habit.

By the end of the 30 days, you'll be better at communicating your ideas to others.

Step 2: Develop a Content Writing System

As you become more comfortable with writing, it's time to develop a content writing system that works for you.

Having a content writing system is essential:

→ It reduces time.

→ Improves quality of ideas.

→ Helps you repurpose content.

→ Your content writing system should include the following elements:

Topic ideation

Create a list of topics you want to write about. Use tools like Google Trends, Quora, or AnswerThePublic to find topics that your audience is interested in.
You can get inspiration from other people tweets, Instagram posts, medium articles and much more.

Content creation

Develop a writing process that works for you. This could include outlining, drafting, and editing your work.

Promotion

Promote your content on social media, email lists, or other channels to reach a wider audience.

Repurposing

How would you repurpose you content? We suggest you to write your newsletter first. And then distill it into tweets that could be turned into Instagram posts.
By developing a content writing system, you'll be able to streamline your writing process and produce high-quality content consistently.

Step 3: Prioritize Quality Ideas Over Quantity of Ideas

While it's essential to have a steady stream of content, focusing on quality rather than quantity will set you apart from the competition.

Instead of churning out countless articles or blog posts, take the time to research, brainstorm, and refine your ideas.

Develop content that offers value, resonates with your target audience, and that showcases your expertise.

This approach will not only enhance your personal brand but also build trust among your readers, encouraging them to invest in your digital products.

Quality ideas bring great results. Nowadays, growing on Instagram and Twitter is a matter of great ideas. (Only after you developed an initial base of following first - about 1k followers) After that, great ideas will bring amazing results.

People like Ben Meer and Justin Scott are growing at incredible rates. With few posts. But with good ideas.

To prioritize quality ideas over quantity, ask yourself the following questions when developing topic ideas:

- Does this topic offer something new or valuable?

- Can I provide a unique perspective on this topic?

- Is this topic aligned with my brand values and mission?

If you answer yes to these questions, it's likely that the topic is worth pursuing. But, if the answer is no, it's best to move on to another idea.

Writing and Personal Brand Growth

The ability to write effectively is vital for personal brand development.
As you become better at conveying your message, you'll find it easier to connect with your audience.

It will also help you position yourself as an authority in your niche.
With a robust personal brand, you can unlock many opportunities in the digital economy.

Essentially, people whom you looked up to do might very well be your friends. That's just the surface level of what could happen.
We currently have 10K followers, cumulative on all platforms. Even with 10K followers, we have gotten a lot of opportunities we wouldn't have before.

Remember: Aim For Creative Freedom

Hope this newsletter opened up your mind on how you can achieve more success  and unlock new-found growth.
